Electronics RecyclingĮlectronics Recycling Informational Flyerīeginning May 1, 2023, the Newton Recycling Center will be accepting Electronics for limited items. The Newton Recycling Center is located at 3 South Park Drive and is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00am to 4:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Magazines, junk mail and cardboard will not be collected curbside, but may be brought to the Recycling Center during normal hours of operation. The Town of Newton offers this service at no additional cost to taxpayers, for the convenience of its citizens, through the leadership of the Public Works Department. However, the law does not require local government to provide a curbside collection program. Recycling is mandated by New Jersey State Law. On curbside collection dates when it is wet or rainy, newspapers will not be picked up.
